Part C: one claim, audited
You check one claim against the evidence the repository holds, and see how far that check went: a check supports only what it examines.
Principles in play: Review against sources.
Needs: nothing beyond the hour.
What you do
Section titled “What you do”-
B says Audit the sentence that states the overall share with the claim audit skill, claim-evidence-audit, against the two count columns of the table.
A says Audit one sentence of the background paragraph with the claim audit skill, claim-evidence-audit, against its line in the claim-to-source map and the source passage, if the repository holds it.
-
Read the rating, what the audit opened, and what it did not. A bibliography entry or a resolving DOI is not support for a claim.
Ask your agent
Section titled “Ask your agent”- What did the audit open to reach its rating, and what did it not open?
What you can say now
Section titled “What you can say now”The audit rated one claim by what it opened and said what it did not: that is R, review against sources, with its limit.
